These oysters are breaded and hand-battered, with a mild and natural salt flavor. Before frying, each oyster is dusted with a seasoned flour to create an unbelievably crunchy texture.
Cooking Tips & Recipes
Do not thaw before frying.
Deep Fry: (3 minutes)
For a crispy texture, fry in clean oil at 350°F or 177°C for 3 to 3 1/2 minutes until golden brown. For less crispy texture, cook at the same temperature for 2 1/2 to 3 minutes. Do not overcook. Please guard against complete or partial thawing. Cook from a frozen state. Thawed and refrozen breaded oysters will over-brown when cooked.
Conventional Oven: (6-8 minutes)
Bake from frozen state in a 400*F oven for 6-8 minutes or until golden brown.
Product has been par cooked to speed preparation.
